Gheorghe Cojocaru

Before joining Morphosis Capital as an Investment Associate, Gheorghe worked over 3.5 years at Citi as a Corporate Banking Associate, where he contributed to the execution of landmark local transactions across DCM, ECM, and M&A spaces. He also developed expertise in portfolio management, conducting financial reviews for companies with revenues exceeding $250 million, and fostering strategic partnerships with top-tier executives.

Prior to that, Gheorghe developed expertise in automation and sales at HP, where he streamlined reporting workflows and supported commercial sales initiatives across EMEA. Earlier, he acquired experience in distressed asset transactions as an Investment Analyst, specializing in due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring across the CEE region.

Gheorghe holds a BSc in Business Administration from Al. I. Cuza University of Iasi and a Double MSc Degree in Finance & Risk Management (Al. I. Cuza University of Iasi) and Quantitative Asset & Risk Management (University of Economics in Katowice).

A CFA charterholder since 2023, Gheorghe is fluent in Romanian, English, and Russian.
