Maria Tanase

Maria joined Morphosis Capital in November 2025 as Financial Controller, where she supports the fund’s entities in financial planning, reporting and operational activities, contributing to budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and internal control processes. Working closely with the investment and portfolio teams, she helps ensure accurate financial information and informed, data-driven decision-making. Her responsibilities include also oversight of quarterly and annual reports for Private Equity Funds and maintaining relationships with banks and outsourced accounting providers.

Prior to joining Morphosis Capital, Maria gained experience across various industries through roles with international companies such as Coty, Webhelp and ArcelorMittal. This background has provided her with a broad perspective on financial operations, process optimization and working in complex, fast-paced environments.

Maria holds a BA in Tourism and Business from the University of Westminster and an MBA in Hospitality Administration/Management from Queen Margaret University College. She is a native Romanian speaker, with professional proficiency in English and Spanish, and medium knowledge of German and French.
