EMI Group, one of the most dynamic European players specializing in industrial access solutions, continues its evolution into a strong regional platform by entering the Dutch market through the acquisition of Damm Deurentechniek B.V. The transaction marks a natural continuation of the Group’s accelerated growth strategy—consolidated in Belgium and now expanded into one of the most competitive and mature markets in Western Europe.
Trusted through years of dedication, Damm Deurentechniek brings to EMI Group a solid reputation in the Dutch market, built on specialized expertise in industrial access systems. The company’s portfolio focuses on specialized industrial doors, complemented by full maintenance, service and on-demand assistance, as well as tailored engineering solutions for complex industrial environments. Its operations are coordinated by an experienced and entrepreneurial leadership team consisting of Wim Poppe and Edwin van Overbeeke, who oversee day-to-day management, supported by the strategic expertise of Frank Sijm, a long-standing industry professional.
Their customer-centric approach, strong reputation in the Dutch market and solid engineering culture make Damm a natural fit for EMI Group’s decentralized and locally empowered operating model.
Supported by majority shareholders INNOVA Capital and Morphosis Capital, EMI Group is the only company in the industrial access-solutions sector founded in Romania that has successfully expanded into Western Europe through successive acquisitions. Building on operational hubs in Romania, followed by the integration of Access Systems and Decran in Belgium and KADRA in Romania, the acquisition of Damm Deurentechniek B.V. marks the Group’s entry into another strategic market. As in its existing markets, EMI aims to replicate its rapid growth model and position itself among the top three players locally, reinforcing its ambition to build a strong presence across the region.
To support this accelerated international expansion, EMI Group has appointed Julien Anglade as Group Managing Director, effective 1 December. With almost 25 years of international management experience and a remarkable track record within Up Coop—active in 25 countries with more than EUR 800 million in revenue—Julien brings extensive expertise in cross-border acquisitions, post-merger integration and digital transformation. His role strengthens the Group’s leadership capacity as EMI continues to scale its operations across Europe.
CEO Statement – Jérôme France

— Jérôme France, CEO EMI Group
The integration of Damm into EMI Group opens a new national market in Western Europe and strengthens the Group’s network of access-solution specialists. It expands EMI’s technical expertise across multiple industrial applications and reinforces its capabilities in service, maintenance and full lifecycle support. It also creates new cross-border collaboration opportunities and supports the Group’s ambition to build a unified European platform rooted in strong local expertise.
Following this acquisition, EMI Group’s consolidated revenues exceed EUR 50 million. Considering this transaction and another acquisition scheduled for announcement at the end of December, the Group already operates at a scale of approximately EUR 80 million. EMI Group continues its accelerated growth and remains focused on reaching its target of EUR 120 million in consolidated revenue.
The investment of Morphosis I in EMI Group was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Regional Operational Programme 2014–2020.
